I don’t know what is your solution, but 8, 36, 31, 33, 5 (33) 2 (12) 16 must be good enough too.
EddieУчастникIn the positions of the championship 2006 I found these problems that are already known:
A. Jovaisas, but earlier: J. Viergever (Rotterdams Nieuwsblad, 13-10-1990)
R. Mackevicius, but (with 30 on 25, 41 on 47 and 50 on 49) earlier: B. Sjkitkin (Sjasjki, febr. 1981)
EddieУчастникMy thought is that you had in mind: 9, 10, 5, 6 A (35) 44 etc, but A: 36 (5 pieces !).
EddieУчастникAlex, I found 10, 4, 38, 30.
EddieУчастник31, 43, 182, 19 / 13 / 8 ?!!?
EddieУчастникQuote:Two variations.Always a funny position after the move 16-38 !
EddieУчастникWhat about locking up many black pieces?
I found a problem made by P. Boerrigter (1973), ending in this position:
The problem was not completely o.k. So I made an arrangement:
This will be registrated as:
P. Boerrigter (1973; arr. Eddie van de Acker, 7-8-2006)EddieУчастникThe last problem 09/20/21/23/24/30/36 / 32/37/38/39/43/44/45 was already published in 1985 in the Belgian magazine Knack. Author is J. Scheijen.
EddieУчастникSeries with variation, like Alex does !
EddieУчастникОсталось дело за малым
Alex, if you do want to know, both problems exist already:
07/13/20/27/30/34/40 — 22/23/31/33/38/41/42
L.F. Faber (6-7-1993)08/10/13/20/24/27/30 — 22/23/31/33/38/41/42
J. Bus (De Rotterdammer, 10-4-1965)EddieУчастникReturn to the 2 — 1D motiv !
EddieУчастник№2. Белые начинают и выигрывают
А. Моисеев, ШР, 6-27-2006[/quote]This looks somewhat similar to:
07/08/09/10/18/28/39 — 16/20/26/27/30/41/48
S.M. van Eijk (Eigen Werk, part 8, 2003)EddieУчастникSome remarks about the 7×7’s:
01
03/10/17/27/29/30/34 — 09/18/19/23/36/38/44
also Grebenko in concours Respublika, 200403
06/13/23/33/35/38/42 — 11/24/27/30/44/47/49
also Grebenko in retro concours 200409
07/13/17/26/28/32/34 — 20/31/35/41/42/43/50
problem is (with 50 on 49) already made by G. Kerkdijk in 1951 (4650 problemen op 46/5 — 5/46, part 5 (1974)10
08/09/11/17/19/29/30 — 22/26/31/39/43/47/49
problem is (with 19 on 20) already made by L. Dalman (Du Haut Du Pont Du Gard (1978)39
05/07/09/13/17/28/35 — 15/20/23/24/32/44/45
according to 300 Komposities, part 3 (1993) already in 1982 made by M. Lewandovski43
16/20/23/25/27/29/33 — 12/21/32/35/37/38/40
also Shulga in retro concours 2004EddieУчастникThe motiv is not new. In Damweelde, march 1967 you can find this 7×7:
04/08/13/19/22/25/45 — 15/30/33/34/40/49/50. Leen de Rooij & Jan Scheijen. Solution is: 349, 504, 28, 39, 9, 10 (18) 4 (24) 22 (12) 13 (29) 9 (33) 3 (18) 9 (23) 14 (29) 20 (34) 38.Another problem I found from Lebourg has the same endgame, and the info here says: motiv Presburg. And there are certainly more problems if I would search for them, I suppose.
Your second problem was already in the book 300 Komposities, part 2. It must be made in 1988, but I don’t know the original source (if you know it, please tell me). Solution here is: 21, 27, 9, 10 (23) 4 (19) 13 (12) 24 (17) 8 (22) 13 (228) 24
EddieУчастникI was wondering what main variant you had in mind for the motivs.
